今年的主题是 看台personalis. Jesuit scholastic and adjunct instructor, Josh Hinchie, S.J. writes, “At this moment 500 years ago, St. 罗耀拉的依纳爵 was on a ship returning from the holy places in Jerusalem. The year before, he had damaged his health by going to extremes in his quest to become a saint. 现在, he knew a little better how to balance the different parts of his life in the pursuit of that goal—his prayer, 他的研究, his bodily and mental health. 对我们来说, Ignatius's experience exemplifies 看台personalis, the Jesuit value of "care for the whole person.毕竟, we're not expendable cogs in an economic machine; rather, we're human beings made in God's image and likeness, to know and love God and work for our neighbor's good. 相应的, Jesuit education seeks to form students for this purpose in every aspect of their lives—intellectually, 精神上, 在道德上, 社会, 和身体上.”
